Sex Education is a British comedy-drama web television series created by Laurie Nunn. Her mother is played by sex therapist Gillian Anderson in the drama that stars Asa Butterfield as an insecure teenager. The first season of Sex Education series aired on Netflix on January 11, 2019. Ncuti Gatwa, Emma Mackey, Connor Swindells, Aimee Lou Wood and Kedar Williams-Stirling co-stars. It was a critical and commercial success for Netflix, and it released its first season after over 40 million viewers. The second season aired on January 17, 2020. Netflix has confirmed that Sex Education will be releasing for its third season, which should come as no surprise after it entered the top ten most popular 2019 series lists in both the UK and the US.
